Pure Hoodai Acai diet and max cleanse pro ?

March 26th, 2011

Okay so I’ve heard about this diet called the "pure hoddia acai berry diet". And it;s been on the news plus has mostly really good reviews. but as i look over it i notice that their are alot of people that try to scam this product . so im just wondering where do i get the product that was featured on new cites like CNN and not the scam that just wants to charge your card ?!!! – help and please if you don’t no don’t answer and don’t be rude either :) )

The scams you are referring to and the products you are looking for are one and the same.
Pfizer is the biggest drug manufacturer in the world and they made their research on hoodia public because it was so ineffective and possibly dangerous.
This whole acai berry thing is a scam.
Acai berries are high in antioxidants.
A diet high in antioxidant foods can increase your metabolism.
An increase in metabolism can burn more calories.
More calories burned can result in weight loss.
Acai berries cause weight loss!
That is the big "stretch" these con artists are selling.
Acai berries don’t have any more antioxidants in them than regular blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries. At 10 times the price because they are "exotic".
The "cleanse" that usually come with them contain nothing more than psyllium husk powder to help you poop more. You can buy a quart jar of it for $10 at the grocery. There is no such thing as a "fat burner ".
Burning more calories than you consume is the only fat burner.
None of these weight loss supplements guarantee anything unless you establish a healthy diet and exercise program.
So why not just establish a healthy diet and exercise program and keep your money?
You are spending somewhere between $2 and $4 per day on products that are not approved or guaranteed to do anything!
The same "stretch of the imagination" applies to the green tea, maquiberry, hoodia, moyoberry, gojiberry, fruta planta, and african mango seed extract pills out there.
That kind of money pays for a great gym membership.
The only weight loss supplement I recommend is a basic multivitamin.
A healthy diet high in both soluble and insoluble fiber is the only safe way there is.

If you do foolishly decide to buy any of this stuff, always check the Ters and Conditions link at the bottom of the page. That is where you can usually find out if they are going to rip you off with "auto renewal" shipments at $80 or more.

Is this website real or a scam (acai berry diet pills)?

If you think it’s a scam can you tell me how you know.

Scam- if you do sign up for cheap they will send you the pills and if you dont cancel within a certain time then you will get charged like $50 or so dollars- dont waist your time

High Whey Protein Diet? Good or bad?

February 18th, 2011

What are the risks for eating a high protein diet? Not protein from meats and things, but from powered protein supplement shakes blended with fat-free milk. I eat only breakfast, then replace the other meals and snacks with a Whey Protein powder in fat-free milk. Along with a complex B/C vitamin and the following herbs: St John’s Wort, Ginko. (Also Fish Oil and concentrated Acai). Is this unhealthy? The intention is just to loose some body fat, I’m not trying to gain muscle mass at all.

Yes, it’s very unhealthy because you’re depriving yourself of important nutrients you should be getting by eating natural foods as well as putting your self at risk by consuming supplements which are virtually unregulated, unlike food and pharmaceuticals, by the government not to mention the fact that many supplements have devolved into poor quality imports from China and other countries which have no quality controls whatsoever. Protein supplements have been found to contain heavy metals, pesticides, detergents, drugs, fillers, and other contaminants.

Your body only requires about 50-80 grams or protein per day. Any more than that is not going to be beneficial so why eat it? Protein has about the same number of calories per gram as do carbs. So, from a caloric presepctive you would be better off eating less protein and more carbs.

By eating a refined and concentrated product you’re not providing yourself with the satisfaction of nutritious whole foods not to mention the fact you’ve eliminated all three of the hallmarks of a good diet; balance, variety, and nutrition.

It’s worth mentioning that we did not evolve eating concentrated supplements. We evolved eating raw natural whole foods. Hence, the absolute best way to lose fat is to eat what nature intended and simply adjust the portion size to create the caloric deficit required to burn fat. Anything else without exception is not as good for the average adult with no special considerations.

Here are what some experts have to say about too much protein.

? From: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/answer?qid=20101110070728AAPjuUf

"So think twice when you consider sacrificing the carbohydrates for a protein-dominant diet, Butterfield says. Drastically cutting carbohydrates from your diet may force your body to fight back.

She says that’s because a diet in which protein makes up more than 30% of your caloric intake causes a buildup of toxic ketones. So-called ketogenic diets can thrust your kidneys into overdrive in order to flush these ketones from your body. As your kidneys rid your body of these toxic ketones, you can lose a significant amount of water, which puts you at risk of dehydration, particularly if you exercise heavily.

That water loss often shows up on the scale as weight loss. But along with losing water, you lose muscle mass and bone calcium. The dehydration also strains your kidneys and puts stress on your heart.

And dehydration from a ketogenic diet can make you feel weak and dizzy, give you bad breath, or lead to other problems."

? From: http://diet.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Side_Effects_of_Too_Much_Protein_in_the_Diet

"So what happens when your diet goes far beyond the recommended level of protein, as you might do if following a high protein diet? One of the main concerns has to do with the stress put on the kidneys.

It is important for people on high protein diets to exercise, because it can help the kidneys flush wastes out of your system more effectively. Make sure you talk to your doctor before beginning a high protein diet, if you have ever experienced kidney problems.

Another issue regarding getting too much protein is leeching of calcium from the bones. The acids released by the body as it digests protein are absorbed with the help of calcium. So if you aren’t getting enough calcium, your body will take calcium from your bones. The Nurses Healthy Study even showed that women who ate more than 95 grams of protein were more likely to have broken their wrist than were women who ate less protein.

There is also some evidence that eating a lot of protein can induce or aggravate allergies."

You can easily Google much more information about the dangers of high protein diets.

Good luck and good health!!

I have just purchased a trial of acai max cleanse and detox cleanse to take together, does it really work?

February 16th, 2011

It says that you can promote weight loss by taking both these products at the same time. I have ordered the trials and read various reviews, some positive and some negative..anyone actually done this who has a genuine review???

It certainly worked for the skunks who sold it to you…it worked to fool you into believing their crap and spending good money on a worthless product. Hey, if you’ve got more money, I’ve got a bridge to sell…

Should I take GNC’s Mega Men multivitamin? (listed nutrition)?

February 14th, 2011

Okay, I’ll make this brief while adding anything new to help find an answer as we go.

I want to take a multivitamin, because I know I don’t get my daily dose of vitamins or nutrients that I need, I don’t eat enough by far, which I’m working on, and I feel that I can get more energy and less drowsiness from them. I also plan on starting a New Years resolution of building a small amount of muscle and working myself into a very slick, cut shape. Afterward, I will then start taking classes in a traditional style of Kung Fu, towards the end of summer when my semester starts back up in the Fall.
I would like to know if there is anything in these pills that could harm me, or if there are bad side effects that I could get from them, or if there is something that would be unnecessary. Now, the vitamins also aren’t going to stay forever, they are something to fill in the gap of missing food that I can’t eat up, because of the job I have now, no time, and no money. Within a few years, I will transition over to a healthy food diet over the multivitamin. But anyways, here is the vitamin and its nutrition facts. And I want some answers from a good source, not just a blunt opinion because you oppose them for some reason… Thanks everyone!
